Section 3552 of title 44, United States Code, is amended— by redesignating paragraphs
(6)and
(7)as paragraphs
(7)and (8), respectively; and by inserting after paragraph
(5)the following new paragraph: The term major cybersecurity incident has the meaning given the term major incident in Office of Management and Budget Memorandum M–16–03, dated October 30, 2015, or any successor document. .
