Section 1612(a)(2)(A) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1382a(a)(2)(A) ) is amended— by striking and at the end of clause (ii); and by inserting , and
(iv)clause
(i)shall not apply in the case of a child who is in foster care under the responsibility of a State before the last semicolon.
