Section 208(a)(2) ( 8 U.S.C. 1158(a)(2) ) is amended— by striking subparagraph (B); in subparagraph (C), by striking (D), and inserting (C), ; in subparagraph (D)— by striking subparagraphs

(B)and (C), and inserting subparagraph (B), ; by striking either ; and by striking asylum or extraordinary and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting asylum. ; and by redesignating subparagraphs
