The Under Secretary for Management of the Department of Homeland Security, in coordination with the appropriate component heads, shall develop a mechanism, consistent with the strategy required pursuant to the Department of Homeland Security Interoperable Communications Act ( Public Law 114–29 ), to verify that radio users within the Department receive training on the use of the radio systems of such components, including interagency radio use protocols.
