Section 417(d) of the Rail Safety Improvement Act of 2008 ( 49 U.S.C. 20103 note) is amended— by striking The Secretary and inserting the following: The Secretary ; and by adding at the end the following: The Administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration shall— maintain a copy of the most recent bridge inspection reports prepared in accordance with section (b)(5); and provide copies of the reports described in subparagraph
(A)to appropriate State and local government transportation officials, upon request. .
