Section 5302 of title 49, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (1)(E), by striking bicycle storage facilities and installing equipment and inserting bicycle storage shelters and parking facilities and the installation of equipment ; in paragraph (3)— by striking subparagraph
(F)and inserting the following: leasing equipment or a facility for use in public transportation; ; in subparagraph (G)— in clause (iv), by adding and at the end; in clause (v), by striking and at the end; and by striking clause (vi); in subparagraph (K), by striking or at the end; in subparagraph (L), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following: associated transit improvements; or technological changes or innovations to modify low or no emission vehicles (as defined in section 5339(c)) or facilities. ; and by adding at the end the following: The term value capture means recovering the increased value to property located near public transportation resulting from investments in public transportation. .
