Section 148 of title 23, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a)— in paragraph (4)(B)— in the matter preceding clause (i), by striking includes, but is not limited to, and inserting only includes ; and by adding at the end the following: Installation of vehicle-to-infrastructure communication equipment. Pedestrian hybrid beacons. Roadway improvements that provide separation between pedestrians and motor vehicles, including medians and pedestrian crossing islands. An infrastructure safety project not described in clauses
(i)through (xxvii). ; and by striking paragraph
