Section 502(b) ( 50 U.S.C. 1862(b) ) is amended— by redesignating paragraphs (1), (2), and
(3)as paragraphs (6), (7), and (8), respectively; and by inserting before paragraph
(6)(as so redesignated) the following new paragraphs: a summary of all compliance reviews conducted by the Government for the production of tangible things under section 501; the total number of applications described in section 501(b)(2)(B) made for orders approving requests for the production of tangible things; the total number of such orders either granted, modified, or denied; the total number of applications described in section 501(b)(2)(C) made for orders approving requests for the production of call detail records; the total number of such orders either granted, modified, or denied; . Section 502(c)(1) ( 50 U.S.C. 1862(c)(1) ) is amended— in subparagraph (A), by striking and ; in subparagraph (B), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraphs: the total number of applications made for orders approving requests for the production of tangible things under section 501 in which the specific selection term does not specifically identify an individual, account, or personal device; the total number of orders described in subparagraph
(C)either granted, modified, or denied; and with respect to orders described in subparagraph
(D)that have been granted or modified, whether the court established under section 103 has directed additional, particularized minimization procedures beyond those adopted pursuant to section 501(g). .
