Nothing in the Global Food Security Strategy or this Act shall be construed to supersede or otherwise affect the authority of the relevant Federal departments and agencies to carry out the programs specified in subsection
(b)in the manner provided in, and subject to the terms and conditions of, those programs. The programs referred to in subsection
(a)are the following: The Food for Peace Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1691 et seq. ). The Food for Progress Act of 1985 ( 7 U.S.C. 1736o ). Section 416(b) of the Agricultural Act of 1949 ( 7 U.S.C. 1431(b) ). Section 3206 of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (Local and Regional Food Aid Procurement Program; 7 U.S.C. 1726c ). The Bill Emerson Humanitarian Trust Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1736f–1 ). Section 3107 of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program; 7 U.S.C. 1736o–1 ). Any other food and nutrition security and emergency and nonemergency food assistance programs administered by the Department of Agriculture.
