Section 509(e) of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 290bb–2(e) ) is amended— by striking The Secretary shall establish and inserting: The Secretary shall establish ; and by adding at the end the following: The Secretary shall, as appropriate, provide technical assistance to grantees regarding evidence-based practices for the treatment of geriatric substance use disorders, as well as disseminate information about such evidence-based practices to States and nongrantees throughout the United States. .
