Section 8 of the Stevenson-Wydler Technology Innovation Act of 1980 ( 15 U.S.C. 3706 ) is amended by amending subsection
(a)to read as follows: The Secretary may make grants and enter into cooperative agreements according to the provisions of this section in order to assist any activity consistent with this Act, including activities performed by individuals. .
