Section 7203 ( 20 U.S.C. 7513 ) is amended to read as follows: The purposes of this subpart are to— develop, implement, assess, expand, and evaluate innovative educational programs, Native Hawaiian language medium programs, Native Hawaiian culture-based education programs, and other education programs to improve the academic achievement of Native Hawaiian students by meeting their unique cultural and language needs to help such students meet college and career ready State academic content and student academic achievement standards adopted under section 1111(a)(1); provide guidance to appropriate Federal, State, and local agencies to more effectively and efficiently focus resources, including resources made available under this subpart, on the development and implementation of— innovative educational programs for Native Hawaiian students; rigorous and substantive Native Hawaiian language programs; and Native Hawaiian culture-based educational programs; and create a system by which information from programs funded under this subpart will be collected, analyzed, evaluated, reported, and used in decision making activities with respect to the types of grants awarded under this subpart. .
