Section 1423 (20 U.S.C. 6453) is amended— in paragraph (2)— in subparagraph (A), by inserting or, as appropriate, an Indian tribe in the State after agency ; in subparagraph (B), by inserting , including such facilities operated by the Secretary of the Interior and Indian tribes after system ; by redesignating paragraphs

(13)as paragraphs
(5)through (14), respectively; by inserting after paragraph
(3)the following: a description of the process of consultation and coordination with Indian tribes in the State regarding services provided under the program to children and youth who are Indian; ; in paragraph (7), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by striking , at-risk children or youth, and other participating children or youth, and inserting and at-risk children or youth, ; in paragraph (9), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by inserting and family members after parents ; in paragraph (10), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by striking vocational and inserting career ; in paragraph (13), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by striking and after the semicolon; in paragraph (14), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by inserting after paragraph (14), as redesignated by (2), the following: a description of the demographics of the children and youth served and an assurance that the activities under this subpart meet the cultural, language, and academic needs of such children and youth. .
