Section 5(b) of the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 (Public Law 104–172; 50 U.S.C. 1701 note) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: Except as provided in subsection (f), the President shall impose 5 or more of the sanctions described in section 6(a) with respect to a person if the President determines that the person knowingly transferred, on or after the date of the enactment of the Nuclear Iran Prevention Act of 2013, to Iran goods, services, or technology that would materially contribute to Iran’s ability to mine or mill uranium. . Section 5 of such Act is amended in subsection (b)(3), (c), and
(f)by striking paragraph
(1)or
(2)each place it appears and inserting paragraph (1), (2), or
(3).
