There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Commerce $850,000,000 for the National Institute of Standards and Technology for fiscal year 2014. Of the amount authorized by paragraph (1)— $651,000,000 shall be for scientific and technical research and services laboratory activities; $56,000,000 shall be for the construction and maintenance of facilities; and $143,000,000 shall be for industrial technology services activities, of which $128,000,000 shall be for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership program under sections 25 and 26 of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Act (15 U.S.C. 278k and 278l).
There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Commerce $855,800,000 for the National Institute of Standards and Technology for fiscal year 2015. Of the amount authorized by paragraph (1)— $670,500,000 shall be for scientific and technical research and services laboratory activities; $55,300,000 shall be for the construction and maintenance of facilities; and $130,000,000 shall be for industrial technology services activities, of which $130,000,000 shall be for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership program under sections 25 and 26 of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Act (15 U.S.C. 278k and 278l).
