Section 1861(ww)(1) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395x(ww)(1) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new sentence: In the case of a BCP eligible individual (as defined in section 1899B(b)), such term includes a standardized functional and health risk assessment (as described in section 1899B(d)(1)) furnished by a qualified BCP professional (as defined in section 1899B(k)). . Section 1861(hhh)(1) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395x(h)(1) ) is amended— in subparagraph (A), by striking and at the end; in subparagraph (B), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: in the case of a BCP eligible individual (as defined in section 1899B(b)), that includes a standardized functional and health risk assessment (as described in section 1899B(d)(1)) furnished by a qualified BCP professional (as defined in section 1899B(k)). .
The amendments made by this section shall apply to services furnished on or after the date that is one year after the date of enactment of this Act.
