Section 501 ( 50 U.S.C. 1861 ), as amended by section 106 of this Act, is further amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: In this section: The term call detail record — means session identifying information (including originating or terminating telephone number, International Mobile Subscriber Identity number, or International Mobile Station Equipment Identity number), a telephone calling card number, or the time or duration of a call; and does not include— the contents of any communication (as defined in section 2510(8) of title 18, United States Code); the name, address, or financial information of a subscriber or customer; or cell site location information.
