Section 1408(h) of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3123(h)) is amended by striking 2012 and inserting 2018 . Section 1408(c) of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 ( 7 U.S.C. 3123(c) ) is amended— in paragraph (3), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (4)(C), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: consult with industry groups on agricultural research, extension, education, and economics, and make recommendations to the Secretary based on that consultation. .
