Section 347 of the Department of the Interior and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 1999 (as contained in section 101(e) of division A of Public Law 105–277 ; 16 U.S.C. 2104 note) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking 2013 and inserting 2018 ; and in subsection (c), by adding at the end the following new paragraph: At the discretion of the Secretary of Agriculture, a contract entered into by the Forest Service under this section may be considered a contract for the sale of property under such terms as the Secretary may prescribe without regard to any other provision of law. .
