Section 27(a) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 2036(a) ) is amended— in paragraph
(1)by striking 2008 through 2012 and inserting 2013 through 2018 ; in paragraph (2)— by striking subparagraphs
(A)and
(B)and inserting the following: for fiscal year 2013, $265,750,000; for fiscal year 2014 the dollar amount of commodities specified in subparagraph
(A)adjusted by the percentage by which the thrifty food plan has been adjusted under section 3(u)(4) between June 30, 2012 and June 30, 2013, and subsequently increased by $20,000,000; ; and in subparagraph (C)— by striking 2010 through 2012, the dollar amount of commodities specified in and inserting 2015 through 2018, the total amount of commodities under ; and by striking 2008 and inserting 2013 ; and by adding at the end the following: For purposes of the funds described in this subsection, the Secretary shall— make the funds available for 2 fiscal years; and allow States to carry over unexpended balances to the next fiscal year pursuant to such terms and conditions as are determined by the Secretary. . Section 209(d) of the Emergency Food Assistance Act of 1983 ( 7 U.S.C. 7511a(d) ) is amended by striking 2012 and inserting 2018 .
