The Secretary shall designate a senior official in the Department of State to conduct the activities of the Secretary under this subtitle. The Secretary’s designee shall work with the Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, the Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues, and the heads of other of relevant bureaus and offices of the Department of State and other Federal agencies to— prepare the comprehensive international strategy required under section 3203; collect and analyze data about violence against women and girls internationally; and compile and disseminate information about effective methods of prevention and response, including through the preparation of public reports.
