Section 101(b)(1) ( 8 U.S.C. 1101(b)(1) ) is amended— in subparagraph (E)— by striking (E)(i) and inserting
(E); by striking under the age of sixteen years and inserting younger than 18 years of age, or a child adopted when 18 years of age or older if the adopting parent or parents initiated the legal adoption process before the child reached 18 years of age ; by striking ; or and inserting a semicolon; and by striking clause (ii); in subparagraph (F)— by striking (F)(i) and inserting
(F); by striking sixteen and inserting 18 ; by striking Attorney General and inserting Secretary of Homeland Security ; and by striking clause (ii); and in subparagraph (G), by striking 16 and inserting 18 .
