Sec. 06.05.900. Copies of records for child support purposes.
If a copy of a record concerning an individual who owes or is owed child support, including a record concerning assets and liabilities of the individual, prepared or maintained by a bank of this state is requested by the child support services agency established in AS 25.27.010 or the child support enforcement agency of another state, the bank shall provide the requesting agency with a certified copy of the record. If information is prepared or maintained by the bank in an electronic data base, the bank may provide the requesting agency a copy of the electronic record and a statement certifying its contents.
The agency receiving information under this section may use the information only for child support purposes authorized under law.
