Sec. 47.55.035. Exception to admission criteria.
An applicant for admission to the home who has been a resident of the state for 30 years and is otherwise qualified for admission under AS 47.55.020 may not be disqualified for admission because of absence from the state if the commissioner of family and community services determines the absence was reasonable and admission is consistent with the intent of AS 47.55.010 — 47.55.100.
