Sec. 26.05.697. Misprision of serious offense.
A member of the militia who
(1)knows that another person has committed a serious offense,
(2)wrongfully conceals the commission of the offense, and
(3)fails to make the commission of the offense known to a civilian or military authority as soon as possible may be punished by up to three years of confinement, by separation with characterization up to dishonorable discharge, and by such other punishment as a court-martial may direct.
