Sec. 18.26.070. Expenses of authority.
All expenses of the authority incurred in carrying out the provisions of this chapter are payable solely from funds provided under this chapter, and liability may not be incurred by the authority beyond the extent to which money has been provided under this chapter. However, for the purposes of meeting the necessary expenses of initial organization and operation of the authority for the period commencing on July 9, 1978, and continuing until the authority derives money from funds provided to it under this chapter, the authority may borrow the money it requires and may repay it, with appropriate interest, over a reasonable period of time.
A liability incurred under this section is a liability of the authority only, and not a liability of the state.
